Meet Doc Yu Roc

I’m Doc Yu Roc, clinical sexologist, educator, creator, and disruptor.
I do this work at the intersection of kink, mental health, and embodied healing, offering alternative paths to self-reclamation for those ready to move beyond talk therapy and into transformation.

About Me

I’m Dr. Yulinda Renee, affectionately known as Doc Yu Roc. As a Clinical Sexologist, Educator, and Creator of Therapeutic BDSM™ and Self-Reconciliation Therapy, I guide individuals and professionals through transformative practices that transcend traditional talk therapy. My work is rooted in spirituality, informed by kink, and dedicated to fostering self-reclamation through embodiment and consent.

I’ve carved out a niche in integrating kink practices with therapeutic methodologies to promote healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Therapeutic BDSM is a modality I developed to aid individuals, particularly those with histories of sexual trauma, in their healing processes.

My Approach

I specialize in:

  • Therapeutic BDSM™: Utilizing consensual power dynamics and sensory experiences as tools for healing and self-discovery.

  • Self-Reconciliation Therapy (SRT): A modality focused on integrating fragmented parts of the self to achieve holistic well-being.

  • Certified Professional Kink Practitioner (CPKP) Program: Training professionals to ethically and effectively incorporate kink into their practice.

My Mission/Goal

My mission is...

My mission is multifaceted and unapologetic: to create resources for populations too often overlooked, underrepresented, or silenced, particularly Black people with a history of sexual trauma and members of the kink community. I aim to spark OUTLOUD conversations that center the needs of these communities, helping dismantle stigma and silence.

Through research, education, and public engagement, I strive to normalize kink, expand how we understand pleasure, and prioritize the mental health needs of kink-identified people by including their wisdom in the development of healing spaces, interventions, and systems of care.

I’m not just teaching—I'm living this.

The frameworks I teach were born from lived experience, personal healing, and a commitment to changing the systems that failed us. This is heartwork and hard work, and I’m here for both.

Whether I’m rolling through the world as Doc Yu Roc or holding space for transformation in a healing session, my work is always rooted in realness, reclamation, and embodied truth. From individual offerings to collective conversations, every path I create is an invitation into deeper self-awareness and aligned expression.
