About Us

The Therapeutic BDSM Collaborative Network Vetting Board serves as a dedicated body responsible for curating a diverse network of vetted professionals. Our purpose is to ensure every practitioner, educator, and clinician we partner with embodies the highest levels of ethics, knowledge, and expertise. By creating a rigorous vetting process, we aim to safeguard the integrity of therapeutic BDSM, where trauma healing, consent, and self-reclamation are central.

Our Vision for Healing Through BDSM

We envision a world where BDSM is recognized and embraced as a profound tool for healing and self-discovery. Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive community where practitioners and clients can engage in therapeutic practices that honor consent, safety, and trauma-informed care. By fostering collaborative efforts, we aim to rescript relationships with the self and others, promoting healing through the unique modalities offered by BDSM.

Our Vetting Process

Step 1: Background Check

We conduct thorough background checks to ensure that all applicants meet our ethical and professional standards. This includes verifying their credentials and experience within the BDSM community.

Step 2: Interview

Applicants undergo a detailed interview process where we assess their knowledge of trauma, consent, and BDSM practices. This helps us ensure they are well-equipped to provide safe and informed care.

Step 3: Peer Review

Our ongoing peer review and supervision process ensures that all practitioners remain aligned with the values and standards of the Therapeutic BDSM Collaborative Network. This continuous evaluation helps maintain the integrity and quality of care provided.
